Today, the world celebrates International Day of the Girl while in the US, they’re also celebrating Coming Out Day.

This year’s theme for Day of the Girl is ‘Unscripted and Unstoppable’, as girls truly are throughout the world. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres reminds us that, ‘Girls can be powerful agents of change, and nothing should keep them from participating fully in all areas of life’. Meanwhile, the US marks this 31st anniversary of Coming Out Day with a Supreme Court case that could strip hard-won rights from LGBTQI+ people.
